Big interview with the lovely Joan in The Sunday Times yesterday.
Think it said the new series starts 27th of this month.

Mad Men is great.

Jaon is the redhead right? She is - for lack of better term – fit.

I like her character as well.

Mad Men's great, isn't it! Looks even better on BBC HD.. In fact, have bought the first season on Blu-Ray.

Joan's lovely too and Betty Draper in her riding gear's even better!

Looks like I was the only one from PH who watched it last night then.... smile

Great Ep 1 & 2. Excellant story-telling and acting.

Can any one remind me what happened to 'Duck'? He jumped ship last series didn't he?

Duck got frozen out in the UK buyout deal and left after he originally engineered it IIRC?

Enjoyed last night's two episodes. The rivalry between Pete and Ken(?) as "Heads of Accounts" should prove interesting. That flashback stuff with Don (Dick) to his own birth was weird and a bit "Six Feet Under"..

Peggy’s development should be interesting. Not much on Joan last night but she’s brilliant as the queen bee of the office as usual.

Can't believe you can say this. it is a great price of slow character development drama.. And from one of the main writers of the sopranos..

makes a change from the 1 every week scifi drama that is being manufactured out..

Was wondering when a thread about Mad Men would appear. Scott Hornbacher is heavily involved and he was responsible, in part, for The Sopranos. Its brilliant and Christina Hendricks is a bit memerising.
