Crashed Elise

I was driving along the A31 towards Southampton this morning and just before the Linwood turning I noticed what i thought was a dark green S1 Elise with what looked like gold stickering on it. It looked as though it had spun backwards into the woody/bushy area that is the central reservation. I only saw it for a second so can't comment on any damage.
Does anyone know anything about it?
Thought it would be worth posting this incase it had been stolen, seems strange for the car not to have been removed.
I hope no-one was badly hurt and the car is repairable

The 2 people I know who have dark green S1s haven't mentioned anything yet.

Just been to Southampton it's still there, looks like the standing water may have sent it into the scenery.

Saw it on my way back from Bomo this afternoon, looks like a black one with JPS style gold stickers and some race number on the door, way up in the undergrowth, fingers crossed everyone involved was OK!

It was there last Saturday morning, I hope the plod have checked it out for occupants. Didn't appear to have rolled though, like op says, you only see it for a second as you drive by.

if the police has seen it it would have police stickes on the windows, to stop people keep reporting it.
