Hello happy new year all, just a quick question for the sag boys/girls?, which jack do you use the car is too low for the ones i have thanks j

I got mine from Machine Mart, they had a ultra low one and it was less than £50 too. Sorry can't remember the model number though.

I use a Clarke low enty 1.25T jack. Was about £45 off flea bay. Anything will do IIRC Wickes did something that was about £10 that was more than upto the job.

When lifting (on the bolts by the out riggers) I use an exhaust hanger rubber over the bolt so as not to damage the pad on the jack.

Got one of these as well. Seem to remember it was slagged on a thread here a while back but I've found it ok for the last couple of years.

Had one for a couple of years too. Had to tigheten all of the bolts as all loose when it arrived and had one replacement caster (bearing disintegrated) under warrenty, but does the job fine.

Well the solution is cheap as anything- two pieces of 18"long decking. Drive onto it jack car remove wheels, do work and dont forget to put the decking back under tyres before you lower the jack. Another top tip!

I used to think that people on this forum thought outside the box - only joking- it does work same method on all my Tivs, T350, Cerb, Sag

I got the MachineMart jack, cos they did it in TVR Red Bull Blue! Sad
Very good though apart from the odd split ring needing replacing.
