Quick slave/clutch question

Evening all,

ive installed my new clutch and bellhousing tonight. Before i pop the box back i put my finger through the slave to have a feel at clearance. Theres about approx 10mm clearance between the release bearing and clutch fingers, is that right?

What kind of extension in mm does a slave extend by?

Or am i being thick and that when i actually add fluid into the system and bleed it, it will push the bearing against or near the fingers?

The first pump or two will take up the gap
