Rear tyre wear
Discussion
With the Jag in the garage for the winter I have had time to assess condition of the car prior to launching in the Spring
. I notice that the inside edge of my O/S rear is wearing considerably more than the rest of the tyre. The N/S is wearing too but not to the same extent. Jag have said all is in order bush/supension wise but before I spend more money on laser alignment etc. is there anything I should look at that the dealers have missed? It is still under Jag used warranty until May.

Uneven tyre wear suggests the camber is incorrect - but you'll need to find out why before you have it set up to the correct figure, otherwise you may be compensating for an as yet undiagnosed problem.
If it's still under warranty and Jaguar have looked at it and pronounced the bushes are OK then I'd ask why have they not been able to tell you what is wrong. I'd take it back and complain - I'll bet suspension alignment alone (if that's all it is) is not covered under the warranty, however if there is a fault causing miss alignment that is covered you'd be reasonably entitled to expect an alignment check once it's put right and perhaps some goodwill for the tyre wear too.
Once you've established for sure there's nothing wrong then even if you end up paying for it yourself a session on a proper Hunter 4 wheel alignment rig with a skilled operator will cost you a lot less than premature replacement of rear tyres.
That's what I'd do - get a diagnosis then push it as far as down the warranty route as it will go with your garage and only then get it booked in for a full suspension geometry reset. Alignment is not a job for you local tyre monkeys but if done properly will transform the car.
