weird cameras through mottram & tintwistle on A57?

hi

anyone else noticed the green cameras. what type are they and how do they catch you- and then the slow down 30 sign flashes up at 31.
theres about 6 of them, i think.
anyone know of them?

How far apart are they?

Is there any evidence of sensors in the road surface by the cameras?

Are they just cameras, or is there other equipment with them (eg. IR light source). If there is, they could be SPECS.

However, if there is no light source and if they look like the blue TrafficMaster cameras ... that's probably what they are (I read somewhere that TM were painting some green to make them less intrusive).

Given that there are 6 of them, I guess they're not the Marsksman 870 ANPR cameras that are pole/bridge moutable.

A photograph would help. This question gets asked from time to time, but I can't recall a photograph being posted.

there's three in both directions covering 1.5mile. they are definately not trafficmaster blue or green. I've seen them flash at people like a gatso everytime i pass- twice daily. I thinl people get caught out by their appearance.

these are speeding cameras the type with two circular windows one on the other painted green and invisable to the avarage motorist (asleep to and from work)a great revenue earner except one is on the hill to the left and is always grid locked in the morning.look out for them!!!!!!!!! you have been warned ps the speed warning boards are not the ones I am talking about

Unless they've installed something recently, they're the triggers for the flashing "slow down" signs, not penalty cameras.
