Ted, how about the next meeting being a little further north? Say Chatsworth in Derbyshire, or Donington, somewhere like that? Surrey is just a bit too far for a day trip for some of us!!

Chatsworth would be good. Nice and central and some very nice roads to get there.

I enjoyed the meet yesterday, couldn't arrive until 1300 so I probably missed the best bit with arrivals in the morning. A pleasure to see so many S series cars there though.

Cant wait for the next one.... venue suggestion, Billing Aquadrome Near Northampton ? Lots of eats & drinks available & stuff to do while your there plus various grass or tarmac places to hold it, many clubs use it at present, i'd be happy to enquire if you like ?

Yep, I can see what you mean. I would just be concerned that it would need professional arrangements and no doubt some fee's, as aposed to just turning up??

Looks lovely tho, and for me no further to travel than Surrey, just a different direction.

I've rung Chatsworth, and they have no objections to a meeting taking place, providing there are no other large events on the same day, which is not the case according to their events calendar. If there's a bit more interest, we could all arrange to bring instant barbies, a bit of wine and food, and have a party in the thin, watery Northern sunshine!!

LOL, is that the only way to identify a Red Rose spec engine? With a black marker?? quite minimalistic.

That would be perfect for me.

I can take a quick trip from the sunny Isle of Man.

Any idea of dates for next meet?

Am I wrong or is it Ted's S4 on the background on the right?

I have already seen your car (and yourself) on Pikeynet.com
Just wondered if this one was yours because it seems to have decals on it...

Great day out - well done Johno. It was good to meet some of the people from last time - and some new ones, I wish I'd had the time to meet more of the regulars, must spend less time in the pub....

Some great cars there, nice to meet Pete and the amazing 4.6 GTi. Who's was the grey Tamora??

Good run to Marlow again (only 4 cars this time) I'll post the photos from the pub when I get back later in the week.

Cheers,
JSG

Niiice

I think that's me almost out of frame, pointing to the artwork

Just noticed...I won an award

"The award for best sound had to go to Patrick Deary's SEAC, which when he exited left resulted in spontaneous applause! If only every TVR sounded like a SEAC..."
I liked the flapping Mundano's number plate when I fired it up

No, that's my skanky wheels. The surface corrosion is really nasty on them now.

Urrgh !!! Don't show the bodged up front
It's not looking it's best at the moment....don't know why, but the fibreglass won't stay put for long
Hope to resolve the Duct tape front end in the near future.
As it's Mania at Duxford this year, will you be attending Stuart ? I'm sure you'd be able to blag a couple of lifts if you could get down there.
