Real world economy...

Evening all

Looking at getting a E36 325 cabriolet...or if the car was right a 328. Ideally manula but haven't totally ruled out a slush box, ultimately it's going to be a daily and as it's a cabby i could live with a slusher.

Does anybody have some real world MPG numbers for either? and are autos significantly worse than manuals?

My immaculate 328ci coupe auto (which just so happens to be for sale)
is averaging 20mpg on short start stop journeys & on a run 33mpg.
