Hello all...

I need to get new window winders for my Tuscan, what are they from and where to source (with the black plastic mounting 'discs' (which I don't have))? Mine are not a match at the moment, among other things - ie winders not working so need an overhaul.
Also, on a seperate note, my coil is looking aged - what type/spec is a replacement?
Thanks for your help in advance!

With regards to coil, it depends on whether you have a ballast resistor. If yes, then you need to get a coil that is designed to run with a ballast resistor, basically, its not a 12V coil if you have a ballast resistor.

Apart from that, a coils a coil, I doubt there's much between all the different brands.

My Tuscan has chrome winders. They look like this.....

if that's any help.

Mine runs a ballast resistor but that doesn't mean your's does!

Nice winders Phil, although mine looks like it will need more 'collar' between the winder and door cards (the winder at the moment seem to be quite far out from the door card, not snug up against it)
Just been to look for ballasted/non ballasted... doesn't look like there is ballast.
Thanks again.

You could always try the obvious - Adrian@ or sTeVeR.... they are bound to be able to provide you with "period correct" winders - they'll even fit as well!
