I don't know about you lot but today was a gorgeous day in my area, snow's all gone,. ice cleared at last from my road, thanks to a very heavy downpour yesterday and day before that. My son and I was straight out there, roof off and blasting around for a few hours in my Chim, god it felt good, tearing around Cheshire, bits of Derbyshire and back around Manchester as it was going dark, sad thing is in the hours we were out and about is that we never saw another TVR anywhere....where the f**k are you lot? Anyway, the title isn't aimed at you, it's for all the dozens of 'Porker' and morbid merc owners and all the other sad soft-top owners who are to soft to get it off and enjoy the fresh air this time of year they want to save it for when it's summer, sunny and hot and can cruise past cafe bars n pose, my son and I made a point of laughing and commenting on how cold they must be huddled up in their sweaters and scarves heater on max , and how good and alive we felt. You've just got to take full advantage of the good days like today as there's been so few of them, however we did see 2 MG Midget owners driving through Alderley Edge with roof down , top marks to them.

Dude, I find that in the height of summer let alone the first sunny winters day! The only time I eber see another TVR is when I'm not in mine!

I was out today! But sadly it ended in tears; I hit a pot-hole and it's cost me a new front tyre and possibly a new rim... Will be waiting for the Authorities to make a few repairs before I venture out again...

I´ve been out with the roof down for the past week or so. It´s jolly nice here.

Out up here in central Scotland yesterday and today, first time in a month or two. I had a porsche 997 trying to push me on when I was crusing along the motorway but I resisted and just laughed at his car when he went past..The roads are way to dodgy for any shananigans....

Oh and what do you recon 2003 sp6 Cerb V Porshe 997( just the standard one not the S) would I have competed???Just incase it happens again in the Summer

My T350 (so 3.6l) will take a standard 997 in a straight line. A turbo on the other hand, be-it 996 or 997 and I'd be annihilated!

I kinda thought that. I'm not one for racing about, and I would rather know a Cerbera SP6 could beat it rather than prove it (i'll keep that for the track). I have to say once he cruised past me he did rather disappear into the distance a bit quick. I guess it's just been a while since i gave the car the full BHOONA and have forgotten how fast this thing is..

I was out in mine today (as just about every day) - roof on though I'm afraid ...

...but only because I had so much stuf in the boot I didn't have room for it in there!

Otherwise the roof's been off for the last two weeks - does that count?

roof off and windows down all 3 of us obviosly!!!

Yep,

Decided I "needed" a 50 mile round trip to the cotswolds to get a bite to eat!

first chance to get the roof down since before the snow - Bleedin marvelous.

Beat my own record this year...roof off January 3rd out all day and home 9pm .
Have to admit, that yesterday is the first time since then that the car has been out But it was a full tank of Optimax used

Had the Tuscan out on both Saturday and Sunday but kept the roof on.....

Just needs a deep clean now to get the dirt and other crud off of it that it collected

Going back home on the M20 drive belt shreaded itself, limped home on a couple of strands!!
Rang Keith this morning at Clevor T....he apologised and another is on its way.
Did see a lovely Tuscan on the way M20 at Critals Corner, didnt have time to catch it as I turned off, well thats my line anyway....we did manage a wave
