Freelensing (poor mans tilt shift) looks pretty cool, if you don't mind dust inside your camera.

All that time and effor to engineer a good fit and someone comes along and ditches the idea....

meh - call me a grumpy old man, but i wish people would focus more on creative interesting shots, or going interesting places, or getting up at 5am to get just the right light etc, instead of sitting in their living room using gimmicky techniques

The last two shots I'm fairly confident I can replicate with a Sigma macro lens and a nifty fifty
