title says it all I hope...

Post is not for berating Noble for moving upmarket or issues people have with the M600 project.

Rather, what specific support would you as an M10, M12 or M400 owners like to see from Noble Automotive?

Any technical help for people who do there own work on the cars ,and also be good to do group events like track days or social gatherings , a factory visit over the summer to see what goes on behind closed doors would be nice too .

That's an interresting question, surely it's a bit of pointless one if being asked by someone who is not in a direct position to influence or respond to the replies received? e.g. A senior decision maker at Noble Automotive?

Don't mean that to sound negative, just can't see the point behind it Shimon?

Well lets consider that it is a relevant post smile

What support would M10, M12 and M400 owners like to see?

I'm just finishing a cup of coffee that would have been much nicer with a Noble chocolate biscuit.

As the cars get older....the biggest issue is going to be parts and dare I say it upgrades. A decent database of these will help us keep the cars running!!!!

Isn't this what the wiki is for:- http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Not a database parse, but a base for the data you're asking for.

Noble parts is the place for this but it only just touches on the surface:

A comprehensive list of parts with part numbers would be awesome and alternatives as some parts may not be obtainable.

A supply direct of main parts including body parts windows etc

As above technical help for owners local garages when carrying out work.

In one press release (think it was the PH show post) it did state that they are going to support the M12 with possible upgrades, just found it:

"However, the new company is keeping faith with buyers of those previous generation models, maintaining parts availability and even considering upgrades where appropriate."

i would like to see some photogrpahs of the early prototypes of these cars and early reviews from test drivers

i would also like to see noble recommended repair centres that can repair these cars if they get in a crunch - we do not want these cars to get written off as often as they do

An acknowledgement of the fundamental defects on the M12/400 and a commitment to rectify then at sensible cost.

Starting with balljoint blocks, Chocolate wheels and heater mixer valves

Totally pointless post/exercise...after all, Shimon, you have nothing to do with Noble, you told us.

when my diff went bang my mechanic could get very little help from noble due to moving premisis and the launch of the m600. infact he couldnt even get part numbers for some of the gearbox components. fair enough they must have been busy but it gave the impression they had finished with that level of market 25k cars and keeping them on the road. obviously theres not as much money from parts of old models than new customers paying a premium for a new car. maybe i wont be able to afford a m600 but surely helping the customers who will be relied on for good service word of mouth publicity would be a worthy use of time.

even just a list of the common problem part numbers and where to get ahold of them from would help

I'd like to see them start servicing them again, with a direct parts supply.

A good , direct , helpful , knowleagable parts service like Bill dixon provided for me , during the short overlap of my owning the car , and Noble allowing direct purchase of parts (ie not through dealers )

Parts accessibility.
1. Direct to customers (as used to happen)
and
2. Direct to any dealer/repairer. The current franchise monopoly is pointless, expensive and time consuming.

Best thing Noble could do is re-employ Simon Hucknell.
