Anyone play this?

Can't find a single team in Hampshire other than a Uni side so was wondering if anyone plays in any leagues? I've asked the hants FA if they will be running a Futsal coaching course (I've previously done the Level 1 coaching course) in Hampshire but seems like its not really taken off anywhere yet.

So, anyone a "futsaller" or whatever the technical term is?

And for those of you who like a decent bit of skill...check out this guys effort at 1 minute 28 seconds. Reminds me of me in my prime winklaugh

I really want to play futsal but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have taken off enough over here. I have no idea why the FA aren't pushing it more. Most of the best South American players grew up playing it and their technique is vastly superior to that of the average British player. We really need to make it more accessible in the UK. I play 5-a-side at the moment, which is great, but futsal would be even better.

Agreed, looks much more fun than five a side. I have a futsal that I use with my kids team I coach but not the same as playing on a proper court.

We started playing it at Rawsoccer a few years ago, but it died a death and we reverted back to playing 6-a-side on the pitch with a size 5 instead, shame really, well, not for me, my touch is awful!

I think the FA are trying to push it, but without much success.
