Hi all

Here are a few vids from Snetterton on 17/01/10.

It was our first visit to the track and it turned out to be a good day.

Many thanks to Opentrack (the TDO)

Amazing how fast it feels when viewed from 2 inches off the ground!
Did the MNR behave itself this time?

You were very lucky with the weather, great camera angle, looks like you had the usual frustration of a Bike engine car when put against a power Scooby sti,he should have let you passed,as you were lapping quicker.

The MNR ran prefectly all day. We were really happy with the car.

The camera angle does give a fine impression of speed but I now have a camcorder lens that looks like it been shot blasted after the protective screen fell off frown

The scoob could have gotten out of the way a little earlier, he did pull to one side in the end. As the track was so quiet, we managed to get as many clear laps in as we wanted.

I need more £50 trackdays like that!

Glad the weather held off. I did Snetterton a few months ago in 2009 for the first time and had a good day as usual, but wouldn't rush back there in there BEC. I think things like GT3's are the weapon of choice around there, I couldn't quite catch the faster ones, whereas at any other circuit they are easy meat.

Snetterton is a long way for us to travel. We set off at 3.15 am to get there for the breifing!

Its a good track but I like more corners to keep it interesting. The MNR did better than I expected with the long straights, I was expecting it to be sitting on the limiter in 6th. The gearing proved to be ok with the car reaching 120mph at the end of Revitts.

The run off is nice to have. I completed my first full on spin and exit from the track backwards into a field. No damage and a big grin on my face!
