Removin V.Fine Scratches From Plastic Stereo Display Panel

Hi,

As a sticky-fingered Muppet, I inadvertently appeared to "thumb print" a very fine (thumb-shaped) scratch onto the clear plastic stereo info window using my thumb and the cuff of my fleece top. I'm surprised it did mark it as the fleece is ultra soft but it has so....

I'm thinking Meguiars Plastic Polish (No.10) or similar, removing the Alu-knobs and taping up the surrounding area. Any words of wisdom before I either make it better or more worryingly, make it worse.

I use Meguiars Plast-X for anything like that

A soft cloth and take your time with it

Let me know how you get on, scratched mine as well and obviously don't want to be the guinea pig when trying to remove it
