Something like that! They reckon the TVR isnt covered under their policy.

Not really that surprising - that would be under the third party liability cover that all household insurance has. When a lad rode his bike into the front of my (stationary) Chim, the parents household insurance covered it.My missus ( ex insurance) reckons that motor vehicles and their accessories are normally excluded from domestic policies under a general exclusion as they have their own policies. Look at your policy and you'll probably find it's a general exclusion - along with things like radioactivity and acts of war etc.
