Need some advice on wedding location outside UK (Italy)
Discussion
We had booked to go to Taormina this June to get married. Small family coming
However, partner is 3mths pregant and won't be able to travel at that time (nor want to get married with bun in the oven...it was a surprise!)
We have paid via thomson so are stuck with their wedding locations. We also have to cater for school holidays for some family that are coming.
Next option for this year (which we would prefer) is last week October (school hol) but the Euro destinations (greece/malta/italy) it is rainy season and probably not warm enough to take a dip in the sea. And I suspect Taormina may be difficult with a double child buggy! The long-hauls are too far for us to consider taking a newborn (jamaica/florida/dom rep/mexico/kenya - 10hrs +)
Help ayone? (I'd suggest cancelling it, but would prefer my kids to have a dad who has family jewels attached still)
The last resort is delay until next year, but party member has GCSE's next year which rules out the June 2011 option. August too warm with 2 babies and then we are back to October/Nov again

There isn't a "rainy season" in Southern Europe, just lower temperatures and an increased risk of rain in some areas. Use the trip planner facility on this website to check out historical weather patterns for different locations for your chosen dates:

Malta looks ok - average highs of 23c and average lows of 17c. Anywhere on a similar latitude should have roughly similar weather - Cyprus or the Canary Islands are alternatives, and so is Madeira, although Madeira will be a bit cooler than the Canaries. Even Seville and Cadiz in S.Spain post average highs of 24c for those dates.
