Touch Up Paint - Best Source

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend where best to source some touch up paint?

Last time I got some from our only TVR indie who said they could only source in 1ltr tins. Needless to say, that's expensive and wasteful (it's now gone off through regular lid removal) for only small paint chips etc.
Not only that but they don't do bodywork stuff so couldn't match paint (Monza Red Griff) and despite giving paint code, it's not a great match.

Any suggestions, body shops don't seem keen to match
for a touchup stick...guess it ain't worth it for the time and paint required to match.

Surface and design at the old factory sorted me a touch up pot, they had my build record so it matched.

Not the cheapest, but needs must, your car did not look like it required any at the NEC?

If you are just after a touch up stick, you could try Halfrauds. I got a set for my Griff - a VW colour and its a pretty good match.

Bizarrely though, they dont do the spray cans in the same colour.

Might try surface & design, doubt they'd be as expensive as the 1ltr pot the Tiv specialist charged me for and they might do a better match (they just used the ICI paint code - wasn't a great match, thankfully not too obvious for stone chips).

I'd give Halfrauds a try but no idea what the original (if any) car manufacturer paint it was from. Just listed as Monza Red in my handbook.

I did the same. Ended up with a Ford colour which was ideal for those small chips. Just needed as close a match as possible and it's made a great difference.

Had to go back to the store to replace the original touch up to one slightly darker but sorted it in the end.
