Amusing quote from me the other day when I went out in the Lingenfelter: "holy sh*t Geoff, this is too fast for me!"

And I never thought I'd say that, especially in a car that was no where near full throttle.

Imagine what this blown big block would be like!!!!!!!!!! The old Yanks have to go one better again.

Seriously though, how nice is that engine - definitely a candidate for a transparent hood!

Yeah I saw that link too, a few weeks ago.

But here are some more impressive Vettes:

I wish BB's could fit in a C5, C6 and in the next Vettes (not that I can predict). Engine bay space is the bottleneck . This thread makes it pretty clear it's not possible, through explanation:

Ah well, the LS6 is still awesome I suppose, and sticking in a BB will be cramped, cost a lot in chassis (frame work), and the car will be nose heavy, screwing up the weight distribution and handling (partly due to the change in weight distribution).

I found the last thread more entertaining for the way the guys swapped posts than the motor talk itself Z06

Yeah, some funny smack talk on that thread...

Why can't I view smilies (in posts, can see the radio buttoned ones for message icons when making a post/thread).
