Agoda.com - Any experience?

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of using Agoda.com - an Asian specialist hotel booking service.

Thinking about going to Thailand later in the year and they seem to have some reasonable rates on hotels out there, but not having used them before, I was wondering if anyone had any first-hand experiences (good or bad) before I go ahead and book anything with them.

Yes i used them in November to stay in Bangkok, good service and cheap too, cheaper than the hotel rates...

Cheers Phumy - no probs with the booking then I take it. Did you make all the arrangements via the interweb?

Yes did everything via the net from Vietnam, no problems at all, did the dirty with a visa card and got confirmation straight away and no trouble with scamming. You do get quite a few follow up emails, like once a week asking if you want to go on holiday with them again but i can put up with that.

I have used them for a 2 week trip in Bali. No problems and saved a load of cash.
