Hi folks, I need some advice, having recently returned from the family ski trip I am now thinking about the summer one biggrin And I am in the mood for a road trip from San Francisco to LA. Now I did this in the opposite direction about 9 years ago when my son was 11 months old and it was great fun. But as the kids are now 9 and 5 I think they will love it.

So can any of you recommend companies you have used or have you booked it all yourself? We want a decent sized RV, slide outs would be nice. We hope to go for two weeks, how much can we expect to pay in August?

Thanks for your help in advance

These are one, if not the biggest over there, you could try.. They are literally everywhere. cruiseamerica.com

Just beware, some of the larger RVs wont be allowed in some parks due to their size.

Hi. Agree with spudler - cruiseamerica.com.......
However, whilst this next link is of no use to you whatsoever, I can't help but including it - take a look at these things and start saving the $$$$...Call that an RV?

Hi,

I did 4 weeks around California, Arizona and Nevada in an 8 berth RV from Cruise America in 2005. We paid 29 Euros a day as we booked it from a travel agent in Holland. In the UK it was 5 times the price.
