Stanhope is indeed excellent, well worth searching for 'No Refunds' on youtube but his material hasn't changed in quite a while and I imagine his Newswipe appearences will all borrow heavily from his standup if that first one was anything to go by.

Good to have him and Mr Brooker back on our screens though, felt the first episode was going over old ground a bit, no doubt to get newcomers on board with the show but I'm really looking forward to episode 2 now they can crack on with specific news items.

Last nights was good!
I like how he's now going a bit deeper into explaining the tricks of the trade. Sometimes 5 minutes of stuff he knows isn't that funny, but his audience will appreciate.
The news forumla bit was hilarious and the "A source said" bit was saddening.
