Took these last year with a Panasonic FZ7. Just processed in Lightroom so thought i'd post them up for some C&C. I was experimenting with a Lomo effect for the bridge shot. I'm still finding my feet with PP and never sure whether things are over processed. The shots of Dornie & Eilean Donan have only had a slight lift in saturation. Shieldaig has had a little more work.

Nice shots! smile I am going to Scotland around easter this year so will hopefully get some good pics too! Out of interest what post processing have you done to the shot with the house with the red roof?

sharpened slightly, desaturated slightly and added a little further contrast to the sky. It had a ND filter on it already but just wanted it that little darker.

John, I actually drove towards the village and was looking for GCs house! Figured it was tucked away somewhere amongst the heavy wooded area just before the Village. Lovely place there

Steve, I think I saw your place when I passed but wasn't sure. I actually stayed at the campsite in Applecross but just spent a lazy late afternoon driving up to Shieldaig. Amazing place and hope to be back there soon.

Oh, so THAT is where you live. I remember going along that bit of road.

Really like that last one of Dornie village - most folks are so focused on the castle that they don't look up the loch on the other side of the road!
