classic ford night - ace cafe - a406 n/circ

for those not in 'the know',its held on the second monday of every month.the cars at the event range from ford pop's right the way up to sierra cosworths.
this gathering of classic fords is usually a v.good giggle and you get to see some class machinery,including capri's (mk1-3,inc 3.1's),cortina's (mk1-5,inc a v8 mk1 that is fantastic),escorts(mk1+2,inc rs2000's and mexico's),anglia's (std and modded),a thames van,granadas (mk2 mainly),the odd one or two mach1 mustang and there was even a jacked-up mk1 transit last time i was there.
if you have nothing else to do on the second monday of the month then go,its obviously more busy in the summer but it still gets a good turnout in the winter/spring.
the ace cafe is situated at the park royal jct of the a406 on the eastbound sliproad.(its the big,well-lit whitefronted building)........bit of advise to all of those who havnt ventured there before....DO NOT PARK IN THE CARPET SHOP'S CARPARK,they have 24hr clamping and the clampers are total and utter c***s,one of them(a propper gobby little turd) nearly ended up with a wheelclamp enema a couple of months ago,it was only the police that stopped it.(even though the police had to wait a while for back-up before approaching the situation as they were outnumbered nearly 10-1)
anyway,im gonna try to be up there for the next one!! (next monday) the gathering usually starts proper from around 8pm.
