About to buy 1996 740i

Hi guys I'm about to buy a 1996 740i off a friend. The car needs a bit of work which I know about but another problem that has occured while being parked up (in snow) is that the throttle has jammed open - does anyone know what is causing this and what is the best way to go about solving it.

The other thing is that it currently has the old style radio cassette sat nav and I am wanting to upgrade it to the Mk4 widescreen - what bits do I need to succesfully do this.

Also car is LPG converted, even though car has been used everyday should I check anything specific?

Finally I want to put a louder exhaust on it. Can anyone recommend a system or a way in which I can modify the existing?
