On the top front panel of the grille, where the Air filter box sits, RH side as you look at it, you will see a hole that takes an M8 countersunk Allen headed screw, this screws into 'something' on the oil coller itself. When I respreayed mine I undid the Allen screw, and the oil cooler just hung loose, hanging from the hoses I guess. I can't remember if anything else was holding it in place, but I don't think so.

r and that bracket possibly bolted on to that hole
Glad that helped. Like I said, when I undid the Allen screw, the coller dropped down by about an inch, and when i refitted it, it was nice and secure. So based on that I would say, get everything assembled on the cooler - the bracket and the hoses connected whilst the coller is more or less in place, then the last thing you do is screw that Allen key in.
PS When you start it up for the first time, use your right hand to press the start button, and keep your left hand with a finger hovering right on that 'Stop' button, ready to kill the engine instantly. The last thing you want is the engine screaming into life and destructing at 9000 rpm because the throttle cable is jammed (or something equally as silly)! Better safe than sorry!

after all that headache i would be crying if that happens , do you think should fit the radiator before paint job, do i need to paint the side walls where the radiator fitsPS When you start it up for the first time, use your right hand to press the start button, and keep your left hand with a finger hovering right on that 'Stop' button, ready to kill the engine instantly.
