Real/Forza replicas...

Howdy all,
I'm getting a bit bored of tuning cars to meet certain class levels so I thought i'd go for something different.

I'm thinking of tuning my Porsche 914 in Forza to the same spec(ish) as the car in this month's Octane magazine. It has around 200-220bhp, 145lb/ft of torque, discs all round, anti roll bars f & r and a rather plain but tasty paint job... It shouldn't be too hard to copy (apart from the paintjob).

So, does anyone else have any ideas for reacreating some period (or not so period) icons to a vaguely similar spec to their real life counterparts?

Or is it just me being dull?

I did this a lot in Forza 2, managed to make quite a good replica of the CLK DTM AMG, all the stats were near identical, handled pretty well when I'd finished too.

I made a fair few on FM2, but not on FM3 yet.
I did a Type 49 Elise, a 360CS and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head.
I think my most famous creation was the injurylawywers4u Seat Leon though!

How are you going to deal with the bonnet catches?!

I did a few in FM2, in FM3 I've got as far as a Mountune Fiesta, similar mods to the real car and the yellow stripes, mirrors and black wheels. A few more cars in my garage now so I might give something else a go.



Edit: I also did a bunch of zebra stripe and rally Fords, and a Rinspeed Fiat 500

My B-Class '86 Toyota Corrolla is a rather close replica of Takumi's from the Manga series "Initial-D"...

The only problem is knowing what upgrades have been added in the series since it's described that Takumi's father has "Spent weeks tuning the suspension setup" which implies that aftermarket coilovers/ARBs have been installed but it's never actually confirmed...



I tried Replicating a 900whp Supra Drag car i've seen but you just can't get the traction off the line like you can in real life it seems...
