I currently have a 335i conv 57 reg but need a bigger car so I am looking for an M5, can you tell me what they mean when they are saying running in done on time not sure what this is about and is it something important that it is adhered to, I am looking for an 2006 any advice what I need to look for and make sure that it is aclean car, also how long can you carry the BMW warranty on for on a car,

Its important for the M series to have the running in service done on time, normally at around 1200 miles, I think its just an oil change but on a high performance car is necessary. Can invalidate the warranty if not done.
In an expensive car like this, you would have thought they would bench run the engine for 1200 miles, and change the oil themselves. Mermaid said:
