Alloy Fuel Tanks,

I have recently been doing a bit of research into alloy fuel tanks, I though that I would need one shortly but as it turns out my old one is ok. Below is an email from a chap called Ian Fowler who works for a company in Wisbech in camb's called "Flash Customs", after several emails stating sizes and sending pictures etc he gave me a price of £200 (see email below) he does need to have the old tank as a pattern but this was by far and away the cheapest price I had, as I say it's not for me at the moment but it may of use to someone on here, good luck

Judging by the sizes I would stick with the £200 (+ del if req, no VAT as not registered at the moment - looking like I will have to soon though), especially as its an injection tank as I will machine stubs for pick up and return and also machine sender flange fitting. Filler neck will be std 51mm / 2" 1.5mm thk aly tube, 2 baffles with approx 3" dia pick up pot. Will not include new sender etc will only be aly tank pressure tested.
Hope thats ok - sorry but certainly wont be able to fit in this year now as we are too busy until january.
