slow acceleration on discovery 3

Hi all, having a bit of an issue with the disco when cold (2.7D) - acceelration from standstill is poor to say the least. Foot to the floor it hardly moves for a good few seconds then seems to kick in and start moving. This isn't as bad when warmed up though.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any comments (helpful!) would be appreciated
