Mock The Week back on tonight
Discussion
It was obvious that Frankie's style was a bit overpowering for the rest of them, particularly the other two on his side. Perhaps him being away now will let some of the others be heard a bit more.
I like Frankie Boyle (seen his twice at the Edinburgh festival and read his autobiography) but I think he "took over" the show too often.
As long as they don't get that terrible woman Gina Yashere on, or that other woman who wears ties all the time. Or him with the false leg.

Oh god, she's bloody awful. Seems to think that by shouting something in an obtuse manner makes in funny

It was unbelievable how quick witted he was, evident mostly in the last segment where he would come out with loads of cracking lines. I can imagine that being either uncomfortable silences or painfully unfunny from now on.
All the subjects they'll be covering are told to them all before hand so they can write jokes. I listened to Frankies podcast where he was trialing material for the next Mock the week episode.
Frankie was one of the best parts of Mock the week though.
He's not going to do any better either. He should have stuck with it.
His stand up was terrible. I switched off about 30 minutes in.
