I have had a few questions about my editing, so I have created a video of how I processed this shot:

The finshied picture:

More videos to come in the next few days/weeks smile

So, what do you think?

Really interesting to see the process, can you post the original as well as I'd like to see that too?

The original was a mixture of shots (I automatically layer them at the beginning, then use 'lighten' layer mode).

Here is a contact sheet of the pictures used:

Yet another video, this time of me editing a rig shot:

Sorry about no commentary, I couldn't find a mic. Once I find one I'll slow the video down and guide people through the process

And a random video from a photoshoot a little while ago (Zonda Content biggrin) here

That is excellent. Only just got CS4 and to be honest I don't know where to start with it, but seeing what is possible makes me want to learnsmokin

I've just been using the 30 day trial biggrin

I think that I'll stick to CS3 though as I can't justify the cost frown

In the Lambo vid, which tool did you use to make the colour stand out more on the car? Was it the burn tool?

Also, which tool did you use to make the Scooby lighter? smile

To make the car stand out more I created a new duplicate layer (Ctrl+J), added both contrast and saturation to it, then layer mask it and select only the car. It looked like the burn tool as I was using a paint brush to colour in the layer mask.

Again, not the use of a tool, but a layer mask. This time though it was of another set of exposures that I created using flash and merged at a separate time..

Hope that makes sense!
