Is it wrong not to look forward to the release of this very laudable project?

I can't see how they can possibly improve the song, which is amongst my very most favourites, and fear for the end result. I won't buy it, but will pledge money directly in lieu!

censoredcensoredcensoredcensoredcensored ing censoredcensored with his censored the censoredcensoredcensored .

Now, I like Simon Cowell, but how can anyone not see the utter ridiculousness of it? there's been a tragic event and thousands need help - LETS PRODUCE A SINGLE!!!! for censored sake.

The simpsons did a mick-take when "Timmy" got stuck down a well ( "and we're sending our love down that welllllllllllll" ) - it's this to a tee!!

Wouldn't "Shiny, Happy People" have been more appropriate?

I heard about this in the car on my way to a meeting. My response was "haven't they suffered enough?"

I think SC is pissed at not getting xmas number ones and no one is likely to object to a charity single.

Bono, Sting and Chris Martin will, quite literally, be foaming at the mouth.

Good luck with that.

My father auditioned to be Kim Wylde's guitarist in the 80's, was offered the job but he conflicted with her dad (Marty Wylde?) and told him to go fk himself hehe

And so went the shot at fame and fortune

(There's also the time he specatcularly missed the train for The Pretenders audition but we don't discuss that, it's still a sore subject)

I would've thought 'we built this city on rock and roll' would've been better.

Robbie, Kylie, JLS, Cheryl Cole, Take That, James Blunt, Leona Lewis, Jo McElderberry hehe , Mika, James Morrison, Rod Stewart.

No RATM vocals then, Simon?

I'm a big REM fan, and this song has been covered and killed to death several times before.
