Hi guys, new to the forum, im just looking for some information on the RB320. I currently drive a STI 2.0 with the prodrive pack and was wandering which model is quicker. The stated 0-60 for the RB320 is 4.8 where as the STI is 4.6, i know these figures are not applicable to the real world but just wanted to know the key differences and which is better.

Rb 320 is a limited edition 2.5 ltr. It's the pinnacle of the Uk saloon STI's. The 2 ltr STi won't do 0-60 in 4.6 that's a laugh, I think officialy the 320 does it in 4.9. RB 320s are rare and therefore hold their values very well.

I hear the 2.5 litre engine is no where near as good as the 2.0, is this true?

WR1 does it in 4.2 wink

And the 2.5 is better, that why when the 2.0 melts most dealers and people put the 2.5 bottom end in.
The 2.5's are also supposed to be more fuel efficient apparently!

Depends what you meen by better? I think the 2.0ltr has greater tuning potential, it'll run a reliable 400bhp on standard internals all day long. The 2.5ltr maybe more economical (just) as stock due to higher torque output, but i'd say the 2.0ltr is more capable! I must admit though, the RB320 is very handsome!
