Hi i have ford mondeo tdci on a 53 plate, the vehicle is cranking but will not start, have checked if diesel is coming to the filter which eliminates the pump and that is ok. Just would like some advice. Cheers
Camshaft position sensor is a favorite on Mondy's. About £15 from Fraud and easy to change. There are of course many other problems that might cause it not to start.
Has it ever had any issues with cutting out while driving? That would also point to the camshaft sensor.
I have just bought the car like this, the person who id bought it of had told me of the problem and was saying that it is the e.c.u but im not convinced.
