Hello Dotcom....Well I for one will definitely be going 
You'll get a mixed response from people on here! They tend to think that The Cannonball Run Europe is full of 'Gumball' types that arn't car people & are only concerned with showing off the size of their wallets which, especially since Jan took over, couldn't be further from the truth. Over the last 5 years our runs have been an amazing success and the people have been fantastic, I can't wait until the 4th July & I know you will experience the 'Drive Of Your Life'!

Great, our Run is loosely based on the film starring the great Burt Reynolds as well as Erwin 'Cannonball' Baker's monumental coast-to-coast jaunts and a certain American car magazine's cross country 'time trials'. Main difference is that the drivers don't know where their heading until the morning of that day's leg and that we don't race, at all (unless it's on the F1 exclusive track day!)....the winner is the car that achieves the closest to an average speed of 62mph over the 6 day, 2500 miles run....simples! Does it matter what car you have, or can anyone enter? I know gumball only let you in if you have something exotic and rare. Is cannonball the same? I really want to enter next year. Although, if you're paying... Really looking forward to it, exciting stuff!

Ok, let me clear a few things up...Yes Stew, you're right for 'obvious reasons' the Cannonball Run Europe is not a race so getting there first will get you no prizes. It's about AVERAGE MPH...that being 62mph, who ever gets the closest over the 2500 mile trip is the winner and will receive FREE entry to the following years run. Can have anything as long as you get there first.
(For obvious reasons being "first" only counts for your ego.)
You can bring ANY car or truck you like...We had a Peterbilt truck this year!!!
