Airspace is very very busy over the UK most of the time... granted its controled over cities etc, keeping a drone sepperated from other traffic and safe should it fail is going to be a nightmare and will be the stumbling block for this thing...
Even the Predator drones in Afghanistan get into airpoxes with manned aircraft because they are not where they should be....(the drones, not the manned aircraft).....
Can just see the news... Light aircraft collides with AWOL drone...

The USA had problems recently when Taliban went to RadioShack Kabul Online
and bought cheap kit that allowed them to intercept the (unencrypted) images and messages from drones, so over here it'll only be a matter of time before some kissed off IT geek has one ploughing into Plod HQ - or elsewhere.
