Second googlemail account on HTC hero, How ?

My googlemail account is set up on my Hero, It works no problem, The only thing is i would like to add my other googlemail account as well and I cannot work out how to do it, I have been through the settings and get to the point i am in active-sync and have all the boxes filled out but it just wont go through with it, it says check username and password, These are correct.

Can i have two gmails on the one phone ? will it do it or am I being a dullard ?

As far as I'm aware you're limited to one Googlemail account with Android 1.5 (which is what GSM HTC Hero's run). The only way you can currently get two googlemail accounts is with Android 2.0 or newer..... so you can either flash your device with a 2.0 ROM or wait until the 2.1 update from HTC (rumoured to be coming in February)... unless you know what you're doing I'd advise the latter.
