I'm struggling to remember all my appointments lately, my memory seems to be st lately. Is there some gadget where I can put appointments/info in and get audio reminders? I know you can do it on phones but they don't seem to be very good.

Cheers.

I've used a PDA of some description for the last 10 years. Currently, rely heavily on an old XDA Mini S (Windows Mobile 5, IIRC) but there are more modern versions. You can set really complicated, repetitive appointments (eg every other Tuesday, first Wednesday of the month), have alarms go off at any time prior to the appointment (I usually stick to the default 1 hour prior), add an attendees list, set a location, have extra notes. You can synchronise it to your Outlook on the desktop. It really is very good. I can't speak for others like Blackberry and iPhone as I just have zero need for them. The XDA does everything I need.

Quite a few phones these days can synchronise with MS outlook, which gets around the issue of the phone being rubbish for entering info.

As has already been said Google Calendar, you can access it from any computer and some phones and it will even send you a text or/and an email to remind you.

I've just synced my outlook calender to my ipod touch. Don't know how well it works but might be worth a try if you already have an ipod touch? Put the items into outlook, sync the ipod when it charges and robert is your mother's brother!
