Does anyone know of a Chinese Grocery store in the area...I'm in Fleet, lots of Asian stores but all the Chinese ones have closed down.

Alton has one now. Top end of town by the courts/police station. Very good.

Thanks for the other suggestions, I know there are loads within the M25 but want something closer & all my fairly local ones have vanished.

There's a very good one off the Basingstoke Road in Reading - near the big Ford garage.

Korea Food in New Malden, just off the A3 is awesome ..

Big and has all the Chinese food stuff as well, even though it is called Korea Food.

It saves me having to go to China Town!

Wing Yip in Croydon is my favourite. My in-laws (Singaporean) too.

Great restaurant too ... mainly chinese clients which is always a good thing!

At the end of the road down the side of the ford garage ? I thought that was a wholesaler, or is it open to the public as well ?

Open to public - though it's so full you need a ladder in places (which they provide!). It's like the Tardis smile

Went here today. Very good - had all the bits you just can't buy at the supermarket.
