Well a bit of good news today.

Sent the Cerb in for an MOT. Couldn't be bothered sending it to a 'TVR friendly' place this time, it's too far, the weather is grim and I actually thought it would be good to get the thing out there in the real world to see how the car faired.

To be honest I was expecting a fail, a huge list of things, and forewarning of eye watering bills... But no...

I used a local garage who work on my daily drive, nice chaps. There was much excitement when I took the Cerb in, all the mechanics gathered round, we chatted for ages which I am sure we all love to do.

Anyway it passed, no advisories, just a green certificate. The guy did say the handbrake wasn't that good, but we all know that's a case of TADTS.

Just thogught I'd share that with you all and spread the happiness.

Yes I do have cats. My neighbours already call me Mr Noisy, so I have to be a bit careful.

There was a slight raised eyebrow at the number plate, but it was acompanied with a wry smile...

When I had my Lotus I had it de-catted and sent it for an MOT with the cat in the pasenger footwell, which is where the (friendly) tester took the emissions readings from - passed with flying colours.

its always fun taking something like a cerb to the local garage for an MOT, i think they get so bored with the usual stuff and they're always keen to chat and maybe turn the odd blind eye. always amusing seeing them work out how to get it started and then amitting defeat and come to get you to do it biggrin
