BMW 530d M Sport - Service schedule
Discussion
A BMW dealer should be able to give you a breakdown of any service/warranty work undertaken within the dealer network - obviously that won't help if it has been serviced by a non franchised garage and you don't have the documentation.
iDrive will give you details of miles until the next oil change/brakes/filters etc etc.
My E60 has now done around 60k and other than routine servicing has only had rear pads replaced.

Hi Guys
I have just acquired a March 2005 car with 45k mileage - can someone list the services/maintenance that the car should have had , will need soon and anything else of importance.
Thanks very much

The car will tell you when it needs serviced, so probably every 15K to 20KI have just acquired a March 2005 car with 45k mileage - can someone list the services/maintenance that the car should have had , will need soon and anything else of importance.

It may tell you, or at least a suitably equipped person, when it was previously serviced too...My car's too old but I've been shown a key reader which reported any faults and IIRC the service history - drop the key in the slot, up comes the info - though the history may have been on the dealers computer, not the key.

If its an E60 a dealer can download all of the service history and predicted service dates/mileages from the key.sumo69 said:

What you may not have thought of is that the manual is available free on the internet as far as I know.
Basically, the car will tell you via Idrive when and what needs servicing - but the history will be available with BMW dealers (assuming it was serviced at the dealers).
Hope that helps!
