fuel regulator vacuum

There is a connection for a vacuum pipe coming out of the top of the fuel regulator but no pipe !!!
Should there be ??? if so where to?? It is running a bit rich. maybe !! cerbra v8 ajp 1999 if that helps. Thanks

This connection is supposed to be left unconnected on the cerb- its mapped for constant 3 bar (if memory serves) fuel pressure.
