Dual SIM Mobiles

Classic problem probably - I have a work and personal mobile.

I am looking into some of the (seemingly rare) dual sim capable phones (i.e they are designed to take 2 sims from deseign as opposed to aftermarket offerings).

The ones generally available in the UK seem a bit rubbish so I am looking at imports.


Ideally I want one that can do GPS Navigation of somesort as well but that may be stretching it

I can't understand how anyone can have a phone with only a single SIM card - unfortunately I dropped my 3 SIM card phone and some screen functions don't work - so I'm back with a dual SIM.

(Problem with 3 SIM phones in any case is that only 2 can be active at any time).

Surely some enterprising people are importing such phones into the UK.

Have a look at the range of dual SIM phones on sale in New Zealand through the local version of e bay (trademe.co.nz, type into search dual sim.), all phones are unlocked and the traders aren't making a huge margin on them.

If you do find anything you want here in NZ, I could get it for you and send it over - I still have a UK bank account for payments!

dual SIMs seem to be bigger business in China and India - a lot of them are made by smaller brands tho (although not necessarily an issue) -

Quite a few have been imported into the UK - from China, they are all iphone knock offs with dual sim capabilities
