Does anybody know anything about CCD cameras for industrial applications?

Specifically Hitachi Denshi KP-M1E/K and KP-MB1E/K-S1

It's not technical as such; I'm trying to ascertain their value and where to sell them. Not here, obviously, this is NOT an ad.

TIA

I have dabbled with cameras for automation such as protopying and machine tracking. These were small box cameras made by Pulnix.

This is about as close as I can get for a spec.

But mine is an "E" not an "A" which means it's digital not analogue (I think). The MB1E is similar, but has a remote head on a 1m cable.

I've just found this and from the looks of it they are a very high end camera.

Are yours brand new? have you got lenses that go with them?

I'm not sure where you could sell them, i'm afraid Ebay is full of cameras that are 30 quid and unfortunately most people wont know how good these are.

Sorry i cant be more help mate.

Quite a specialist application, to be honest.

Yeah, and there are so few references to them on the net that I have no idea of a suitable outlet.

They are unused, but not boxed. And I don't have lenses.

There is one on eBay USA, so I might stick them on there and see what happens...

Thanks all.

depending on how new these are what about contacting a company such as SECOM, they specialise in security systems including cameras and provided your not just after selling them just one or two I would say they may be interested if the price was right?

Dont worry about not having lenses, most cams of this nature wont come with lenses anyway as the customer will specify what they want i.e. the angle etc.

Maybe like you said pop them on Ebay USA and see what you get. I think if your realistic with the price you'll easily sell camera's like that.

I think you'll just have to ignore all the idiotic comments that you will get when selling CCTV from people who want everything for nothing.
