I need to buy a helmet and driving shoes and I keep getting messed around by internet providers.

Is there anywhere near Nottingham that sells this stuff off the shelf so I can try it on before I buy and actually get it on the day rather than wait 3 weeks and then get told they don't have it in stock.

Thanks for the help

and the last time I was in the shop at Donington by the museum the only helmets were small signed models, but the one inside the padock did used to sell that sort of stuff, but was only open on racedays which isn't a great deal of help at the moment...... wink

Grand Prix Racewear has a show room at Silverstone if you want motorsport stuff. It's only an hour if you get a clear run down the M1 & A43.

If you're planning to compete then make sure you get a lid with the right standard stickers on it or else you won't get past scruitneering.

If your getting a helmet, you need to make sure it fits 100% and if its for car use, make sure you get the right one. I did use a motorbike helmet till recently buying a "proper" car helmet.... loads better.

There is nowhere in Nottingham. Book a days holiday and visit Demon Thieves!
