Hi all,

I've had my Chimaera three days and I have a problem already! The brakes have a bit of a whistle when applied and I can feel a bit of pulsing-come-oscillation through the brake pedal when I apply them. I'm guessing there's something wrong with the brakes!

Anyone know what might be causing this and whether it's a problem I need to go to a specialist for (or can I go to my local garage to get the brakes checked)?? Is it going to cost me an arm and a leg? My dilemma is it's logisitcally very difficult for me to get to the dealer where I bought it from to get it sorted out under the warranty. I'd rather pay and get it done locally if it's not a serious serious problem.

Whilst on the subject, anyone know a good TVR savvy engineer/garage in the South Buckinghamshire area?

Thanks for your help,

- Andy.

Oscillation could be caused by warped disks. Get a local garage to check them out then pursue your dealer to get them sorted.

South Bucks - nearest specialist is Thames Valley Racetech - details in links section of this site. They're based in Sonning Common, out the top of Henley.
