Alpina D3 Spacesaver?

Hi

My Dad is driving to Southampton shortly and doesn't fancy relying on the tyre weld thing that BMW supplies as standard, so he's looking at getting a spacesaver wheel instead for a bit more piece of mind should anything happen.

BMW are the only ones I have seen who sell these for the E90/E92 shape this side of the water and he doesn't fancy waiting on one delivered from the States.

So... Does anyone know of anywhere else where he can source one from, preferably cheaper than the main dealer and which is in similar diameter to the 19" wheels already on it?

a complete kit with jack etc is avaiilb ale for my E60 from BMW for aorund £160 from memory. I have heard that you can some emergency wheels off ebay but I have no clue which to get and whether they are safe to use. The only real option imho is the bmw one for safety reasons.
