Viewed some T350s - feedback welcome

Evening all - advice sought.

Been on a grand T350 viewing tour today. All had pros and cons but a few oddities came up and I'm not sure if this is normal or not so here goes.

2 of the cars were '03 cars but had the later mods (indent to open boot, visors, luggage cover) - when I looked at the door gaps they looked perfect but running my hand along the bottom of the door/sill line revealed a step between the lower edge of the door skin and the sill - this was on both these cars and on both sides. I assumed this was normal until I saw an earlier car without the mods (saw it last so didn't get chance to re-inspect the first 2) whose door bottom was completely flush with the sill. Comments welcome

The last car which was an '02 without the boot lift indent & had a larger gap between the glass and the body on the right side than the left - I thought it looked wrong - the owner tells me this is to facilitate opening of the boot glass - I'm not aware of this but would welcome expert feedback.

Finally one of the cars had a repair to a crack over the OS wheelarch - my feeling is this is not too significant but just checking to see if it a sign of anything hideous.

Whichever one I go for ( if any) will get a TVR specialist inspection. All have good service histories. I'm not in a rush so if these aren't right I will wait it out however difficult that will be after 3 fun test drives today.

I assume you mean front. Mine had hairline cracks on both sides at the top of the wheelarches. I think this is where the panels were bonded together so it's a natural stress point.

Re the '02 rear window gap - I've never heard of this and it sounds unlikely to me to be a standard 'feature' but maybe the owner had adjusted the hinges himself??

Not sure about the door alignment - do you mean the bottom of the doors? Is it visible? I don't think I've ever felt for the alignment there, it just looks OK IYKWIM.

As for the GRP crack/repair. Are you referring to a front wheelarch? If so then I believe the point right at the top of the front wheels is a join point in the original factory mold and has needed fixing on some cars - it should be a completely invisible repair though. Not many cars had this problem, but some certainly did. No big deal if so. HPI to check its nothing else before buying.

Thanks for the replies - in the end I didn't buy any of them although I think I was being a bit dim re the door gaps so please ignore that bit. I've now bought another T350c - take delivery in a couple of weeks - can't wait.....long time coming so I hope it is worth it!

contrats jim, i cant wait to get mine. Will be a few months yet though. Just bought a mk1 focus rs so will be enjoying this in the mean time.
