Well maybe not quite
I had planned a trip to the Scottish Deer Centre this weekend, but rain put a stop to that. So, in the mood to get some animal shots - I headed for Deep Sea World in North Queensferry. The thick and sometimes very curved glass made focus difficult, but still I think some of these turned out quite nice...

Oh and I absolutely loved the wee guy in 1 and 7. He looked like the kitten of the reptile world
, and after Googling the species (Leopard Gecko) it really doesn't help that every website says they're one of the easiest pets to look after. I really don't need a lizard (plus crickets and what-not) in the house. But...

Please do they are beautiful. ill post up pics later when i get home

I'd love one or two of them. The main thing putting me off is that I'd have to keep live crickets, etc. around for them

The Crickets also need to be dusted with Vitamins before you feed them to the geckos

ETA the pic that i left out.

Don't the crickets keep you up at night?
Nope, they are silent crickets and they dont jump that much. I also use Jumpers too and ou can hear them more but only when they hop. Do not let the food issue put you off getting them.
They are amazing creatures. Mine are yellow, black, purple, green and white!
sorry for the crappy iphone pic. i had just lifted their cave.

And how interactive are they? Do they ever enjoy being handled or do you have to keep it to a minimum?
depends on what type of gecko you would like. they are very happy to be handled. when they get bigger they are very deliberate with their movements so not fast at all.mine love to be handled will happliy stroll onto your hand when you put it in the viv.
